Prof. Yogesh Singh has been the Vice-Chancellor of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from July 2011 to July 2014. He was also reappointed as Vice-Chancellor for the second term of three years. The engagement as Vice Chancellor of one of the leading residential Universities in the country with more than 35000 Students,1200 Teachers and 1500 non-teaching staff, brought immense satisfaction, respect and honour. He is a member of the General Council of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) since March, 2012. He is also an independent Director of Gujarat State Petronet Limited (GSPL) and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (Government of Gujarat Undertakings) since May, 2013 and March, 2015 respectively. Prof. Singh has also worked as Chairman, Central Regional Committee, All India Council for Technical Education, Bhopal (covering states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Gujarat) from December 2011 to May 2014. He has served as Dean, University School of Information Technology, University School of Engineering & Technology (2001-2006), Controller of Examinations (2006-2011), Director Student's Welfare (2006-2009), University Proctor (2001-2006) at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. He has also been the member of various Search Committees for the appointment of Vice-Chancellors.
